Experimental Workshops: Ecology and Art Practice

Arkana Arts offers vital opportunities for education and intercultural knowledge exchange. This August we are hosting the first collaborative workshop in Pucallpa with visiting international art students and local indigenous art students explores the theme of ecology and art practice. Though an exploration of indigenous methodologies, students seek contemporary modes of expression grounded in ancient techniques and traditional materials with a focus on experimentation.

This workshop is being facilitated with the support of professors from the Eduardo Mesa Saravia School of Fine Arts in Pucallpa.
